Some history…in 2017 our founders (who had been in the remodeling / renovation business for decades) were in the process of remodeling their own home. Finding a manufacturer of high-end custom exterior shutters, at a fair price, was nearly impossible. Out of frustration, they decided to build their own shutters. Everyone who saw the shutters on the home commented on how much they loved them and asked who made them and where/how to buy, thus the beginnings of ShakerShutters.com.

Almost 5 years later, ShakerShutters.com now deploys a national distribution network of builders and installers to sell its hand-made, custom shutters. Our builder and distributor network projects are mainly high-end homes priced above $500K. These homeowners want beautiful, custom shutters and the builders look to us to build shutters for those projects. However, in late 2020, in response to the rapidly growing number of DIY homeowners looking to source shutters directly from the factory, we opened a state-of-the art production facility in Georgia focused solely on direct-to-consumer production and sales.

Our goal is to offer those same high-end, custom exterior shutters to the DIY homeowner looking for the highest quality shutters at a low price. We now sell our two most popular styles: traditional shaker flat panel and board and batten exterior shutters, directly to homeowners.
